Pelatihan Keterampilan Tentang Pijat Bayi Sebagai Stimulus Tumbuh Kembang Anak Pada Kader Posyandu di Desa Sumbang

Abstract

Babies are children who have just been born until they are 1 year old and are going through a process of growth and development. The growth and development of babies and toddlers can be disrupted. The research results show that 16% of toddlers experience growth disorders. Data at the Sumbang village posyandu in January-August showed that there were 95 stunted toddlers and 12 wasted toddlers. Several research results indicate that the growth and development of toddlers can be more optimal if stimulation is carried out. Baby massage is routine care for babies that has been known for a long time by the public and is one of the oldest therapies in the world. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres regarding baby massage. The method of this activity was carried out by means of counseling and demonstration of baby massage targeting 20 cadres representing 10 posyandu in Sumbang village. This service was held in 2 meetings, namely on July 1 2023 and July 9 2023. The results of this activity in the pre-test knowledge were that the majority scored in the fair category, namely 9 people (60%), post-test knowledge in the good category, namely 12 people (92% ) and the skill scores for all 13 participants (100%) were obtained in the highly skilled category. The results of the overall interest questionnaire, namely 13 people (100%), obtained a score in the very high category. The suggestion for this activity is for villages to always support and facilitate cadres in efforts to improve community health. The output of this community service is in the form of national seminars/proceedings.
