Upaya Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Hipertensi dengan Mengurangi Risiko Hipertensi pada Ibu Kehamilan dan Wanita Usia Subur

Abstract

The high number of cases of hypertension in the world and in Indonesia is a problem that needs to be resolved so that it does not result in serious complications. One way is to prevent and control hypertension. Hypertension can occur regardless of age and status, it can occur in pregnancy or in women of childbearing age. In Linggasari village, pregnant women and women of childbearing age have never received information and have never been diagnosed with the prevention and control of hypertension. This activity aims to prevent and control hypertension by reducing the risk of hypertension. The methods used are blood pressure checks, detection, prevention and control of hypertension, pretest, posttest, providing education about the prevention and control of hypertension and discussions. The target community service activities are pregnant women and women of childbearing age as many as 30 participants which will be carried out from July to August 2023. The results of the participant activities are reducing salt consumption, doing physical activity, consuming balanced nutrition, reducing obesity rates, not smoking, not consuming alcohol and there is an increase in knowledge. In conclusion, all participants made efforts to prevent and control hypertension by reducing the risk of hypertension in pregnant women and women of childbearing age
