Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells decreases to meet the body's physiological needs. The aim of presenting it to the community is to increase pregnant women's knowledge about anemia. The expected output target of this community service program is increasing knowledge of anemia in pregnant women.. The method used in this activity is health education using lecture methods and question and answer discussions using power point and leaflet media. Before the health service was carried out, the results of the pre-test were obtained with the level of knowledge of pregnant women in the sufficient category, namely 89% because several pregnant women had been exposed to information about anemia in the KIA book. Participants were quite enthusiastic about taking part in this health education activity in Kebanggan Village. After the health education was carried out, there was an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women with the post-test score being in the good category, namely 89%, this was due to the health education material being delivered well and the use of media and methods to help absorb knowledge in health education, so that the activity could be said to be successful.
